The Cincinnati Zoo has just brought in two 8-week old cougar cubs!! The cougar cubs were born on September 9th. The cubs weigh about 8 and a half pounds. Their names are Tecumseh and Joseph. They also eat about half of their weight in meat. These two little cubs will soon join the zoo’s Cat Ambassador Program. Cougars are the largest of the small cat family. Cougars are also sometimes called pumas, mountain lions, and panthers! They are all very similar in their characteristics and actions. The cougars will grow up to be about 104 to 200 pounds. The two cougar cubs are preparing to be in the Animal Ambassadors Night Hunters exhibit. The exhibit is planned for May! Well, I have to go! Thanks for reading!(:

In this challenge we are able to blog about anything we want to!(: I am going to talk about Mr. Brown! Mr. Brown was a teacher in our school system for many years. He was loved by many people. He worked out at the college as an Activities Director. He lived a great life! A few years ago he got west nile. He struggled to get past that huge obstacle. He finally got back on his feet, but to do so he had to take some medicine. The medicine affected his system in some weird ways and he ended up getting very sick. After awhile doctors said that he had cancer. Mr. Brown was then put in a nursing home to try and get him back to normal but the cancer was stronger than what doctors could do to help. After a long time of fighting his cancer, Mr. Brown died. He was mourned by many people, but he lived a full life and he enjoyed every minute of it. Some of his greatest moments were being with his wife, kids, and his two grandkids.(:

Thanks for reading!(:

My definition of a digital footprint is when people can see what you do on the internet. You always want to have a positive digital footprint. If you are applying for a job someday, if your employer goes on the internet and searches your name and a bunch of bad stuff come up on Myspace and Facebook, they are not going to want you to work for them. Just remember that everything that you put on the internet is public. Once you put something on the internet, you can’t take it back. Let’s say you go to a party and you are under age and you are drinking and someone takes pictures and posts them on the internet, that can very easily come back to haunt you. Just because of that one picture, you might have your dream job taken away from you. You only have one chance to make a first impression. So if someone goes on the internet and searches your name, you might miss out on something big just because of one bad move that you will never be able to take back. Even though you might think you have things that no one can see on Facebook or Myspace, when the right person comes around, everything is public!(:

Right now we are supposed to blog about our top five favorite movies! And our top five least favorite movies!!

My top favorite movies!(:

1)

My favorite movie would probably be Taken. This movie is about a man and his daughter. The man just quit his job working for the government. His daughter and her friend go to Paris. They are staying in an apartment. Right before they get into the apartment they meet a guy who they think is really nice and so they start talking and then he invites the girls to a party later, they say that they would like to go and then the guy asks what room number they are so that he can come pick them up. The girls end up being taken and the dad has to come and try to save them!

2)

My second favorite movie is the Last Song. It’s about a girl whose parents are divorced and she normally lives with her mom, but she goes to see her dad. She and her younger brother go visit for the whole summer! They get there and the daughter and the dad are having some rough times. A couple days after they arrive at the beach where their dad lives, Rony, the daughter, meets a boy. They spend almost every minute together. Then about a little over halfway through the summer, the dad collapses. He has cancer and he decided not to take his medicine anymore. The dad ends up dying. It was really hard on the whole family. This is a really good movie though! I definitely recommend watching it!!!

3) Open House is my third favorite movie. This movie is about this one guy who falls in love with this girl but he already has a wife. He doesn’t like his wife anymore because she said that anyone that enters the house besides the two of them has to be killed. The guy gets really nervous when the girl he really loves comes and walks into the house. He has to keep her hidden so that his wife won’t see her and kill her!

4) My fourth favorite movie is The Blindside. This movie is about a really rich family who is on their way home when they see a high school kid walking along the road. The kid’s name is Michael Ore. The family takes him home and they give him clothes, a place to sleep, and plenty of food. They end up adopting Michael. He goes out for the football team too and is a really good football player.

5) New Moon is my fifth favorite movie. This movie is when Jacob finds out that he is a wolf. Edward left Bella so Bella spends a lot of time with the wolves. The more time Jacob spends with Bella, the more he falls in love with her. She doesn’t have the same feelings though. She thinks of Jacob more as a brother. Bella is still in love with Edward.

Top 5 worst movies!

1

The top worst movie for me is High School Musical. This movie is about Troy and Gabriella and they are on a vacation. Later in the school year, Gabriella transfers to Troy’s school. She is a really good singer who poses as a threat to Sharpay Evans.

2)

The Sound Of Music is my second least favorite movie. This movie is about this family who gets in trouble and runs from their army. This movie is especially weird in some parts.

3)

This movie is really scary and really really weird. That’s why it’s my third least favorite movie.

4

High School Musical 2 is my fourth least favorite movie. This movie is about when all of the kids get out of school for the summer. Then Gabriella decides she is not going to move again this summer.

5)

Twilight is my fifth least favorite movie. I like New Moon way better than Twilight. In this movie, Bella moves in with her dad and then she enrolls into the local school there. Once she gets to school she meet the Cullen family.

A typical day at the jr. high usually starts by standing outside when you first get to the school. They open the doors at 7:40. Then you go inside and sit down at a lunch table in the cafeteria. Some people get passes to go work on homework and stuff for other teachers. If you don’t have a pass from a teacher then you sit in the cafeteria by anyone you want! Then at 7:55 the bell rings for us to go to our lockers. We have ten minutes from the time that bell rings to get to our first period class! Once first period is done, you get 4 minutes to get to your second period class. Then you go through the day pretty much the same way! There are many different lunch periods. Our 4th, 5th, and 6th periods are extra long because those are the three lunch periods. In order to get everyone through the line, the periods are split in half! There is 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, 6A, and 6B, those are the different times that we eat. Then once those periods are over, you still have seventh and eighth period left. Our last bell rings at 3:25, so that is when we get out of school. Once the last bell rings we go to our lockers and get all of our things we need. Then, we leave! That is a little taste of a day at the jr. high. Thanks for reading!(:

You don’t want to get in trouble for taking someone else’s work when you don’t have permission to use the pictures. You always want to make sure that the site your on to get the pictures allows you to copy them! If you aren’t sure if the website your on is “safe” or not, then ask an adult like a parent, or if your in your classroom then ask your teacher!!
